We will attempt to call you up to 2 days in advance to confirm your comprehensive health exams and counselling appointment. If you are unable to make your appointment please give the staff 24 hours cancellation notice. There will be a no show charge for all missed appointments. This must be paid prior to booking another appointment.
Please do not phone the office for test results. We do not discuss sensitive medical information over the phone. You will be contacted for a follow up with the physician if it is medically necessary.
Patients can also follow up on their own blood work by registering at http://www.myehealth.ca/.
If a referral to a specialist is being made for you by our office, the specialist office or our office will contact you with an appointment place and time. Due to wait lists at the specialist office, you may not be contacted right away.
If a referral to the Island Health Authority imaging department is being made for you by our office, the imaging department will send a written notification by mail to you about your appointment place and time.
In general, MSP does not pay for forms to be completed and is an uninsured service. Please inform the receptionist of any forms needing to be filled out prior to seeing the doctor.

Behaviour in the Office
Our front staff are trained to help patients and we make every effort to make your visit pleasant and comfortable. We are completely supportive of our staff and neither the doctor nor management will tolerate any rude or aggressive behaviour.

Please inform the receptionist of any changes to your personal information upon arrival at the clinic.
Termination of Doctor-Patient Relationship
The quality of patient health care depends on a effective doctor-patient relationship. If for any reason, this relationship becomes compromised it may be terminated. If this occurs, we will provide emergency medical care only for one month, or when the patient finds a new family doctor, whichever comes first.
